First snow of the year (Sturnus vulgaris)

The end of the first week in January brought our first snow fall and a decent amount too, as you can see.

Starlings had been rather in short supply for the previous few weeks, but they didn't forget where to get some grub when times got hard, did they!!

So, guess you're in for a few snowy shots from me now!

Looks like he's coming into breeding condition, Delia...that bill certainly is on the change to yellow.

Bet he was glad of the food.
