Flammulated Owl (Otus flammeolus)

My first Flammulated Owl (lifer #381), seen at Mile 65.5 along the Angeles Crest Highway (CA-2) through the San Gabriel Mountains, on an owling trip with Los Angeles Audubon. In this poor-quality photo, the owl is on a horizontal branch up and to the left from the red laser pointer.
