Flighty Lapwings (Vanellus vanellus)

As I said in yesterday's upload, there wasn't much in the way of close to hand species, but a lot of flight action.

This is just a small section of the Lapwings that took off flew around then settled out of sight. What brought it about I don't know LOL.

This is a huge crop, and I've cut out quite a few individuals, to try and get an image that shows some id-able plumage detail and different wing positions.

A good catch Delia, numbers of these have dwindled in my area over the last few years.
 
I can almost hear them from here, a super flock(part) capture Delia, Tfs.!!!!!!
