Fluttering
It's nice when Goldcrest behaviour spots are fairly sharp. It didn't happen very often with the 400D but I've had more luck with the 40D.

It wasn't exactly sunny yesterday but it was at least dry and after wandering about looking for winter birds that mostly weren't there (2 Rough-legged Buzzards at a distance was the high point) about half the group went into the centre of Uppsala to look for the Ural Owl that had been reported and found it where it had last been seen, in a tree in the grounds of a school. We got very close and I got a couple of pictures I'm fairly happy with though the light was atrocious. Great views though and a lifer for me.

Great setting for a flattering fluttering Goldie,Graham. You were lucky, the lichen wasn't fluttering. Looks great. Well done

Hard to get good images of this constant mover, but you got a pearl here, Graham. Wonderful setting with liechen and juniper! :t::clap:

Thanks very much to all of you for the great response to this picture!
Hope you get lucky with the ones in your garden, Ian! You'll get plenty of exercise chasing after them at any rate.
