Flying Beauties (Cygnus olor)

Whilst driving through Elmley RSPB my Bruv (Mick V) happened to look into the rearview mirror and it was full of flying swans. What luck, we quickly stopped, leapt out of the car and managed to fire off a few frames before they were out of camera range. It certainly made my day as I have only seen Swans flying a couple of times before. Very majestic

Nice capture!If you have chance to come to Holland you can see hundreds together now on the big lakes!
 
Wonderful shot PicMan! Cheers thanks a lot. Did you crop this pic and/or use exposure compensation? Just trying to learn.
 
Hi Jack,

The pic has been cropped approx 25%. No exposure compensation was applied at the time of shooting as we only spotted the Swans at the last minute as they flew up from behind us. The shots were taken in apparture priority so were a bit underexposed. This was corrected in post processing.
