For the Perch Lovers

This is another section of the Sweetgum Tree which is covered in lichen and as you can see is already setting buds. The Sweetgum is indigenous to South Carolina. Soon I won't be able to use it as a backdrop/perch as it becomes thickly coated in leaves. So I take advantage of the winter months when it is leafless ;)

Brilliant KC!! often wondered what the tree was it does look like dead wood until the buds start showing, makes for outstanding perches cousin, :t::t::t:
