Forest Dormouse (Dryomys nitedula)

Very cute I know but unfortunately one of their favourite meals is Semicollared Flycatcher, so when we check our nestboxes we remove any that have taken up residence! They are safely re-homed in another nearby forest!

They are cute, but you are doing the right thing by restricting their diet and not including flycatchers.Bravo-nature conservation in action!

A wonderful image Chris! You were very quick off the mark to grab this shot just at the right moment. It's an exquisite little creature, captured in a perfect pose. Good to know you're protecting the flycatchers, but looking after the mice too.

Aaaaaw!!!! What a wee charmer he is Chris!!!

Sorry to hear they're naughty boys with the flycatchers, but so pleased that you seem to have found a solution to that problem.

A super picture you've taken of this little one. Very well done my friend.
