Formby Red

I had the opportunity to visit Formby this week & hoped to see some of the famous colony of red squirrels. After an hour or so I hadn't seen a thing & began to fear that the dreaded squirrel pox had taken its toll. Then I heard a rustling in the tree tops & saw two reds scampering about - great! This one posed for me before disappearing with its mate. Job done!
