Watched her for about an hour just south of lot 6; she flew south to Sandy Point--I caught up with her there. Your eyes aren't playing tricks on you--that is purple sand.

Recently discovered that Plum Island, Massachusetts (according to Cornell Lab of Ornithology's Ebird) is the hottest hotspot for birding in the whole USA--369 species! No wonder I love to bird here!
