Four African Vultures
This is a picture I took on the last trip to Senegal. I think it's a good portrait of four African Vultures. From left to right: Hooded Vulture, Rppell's Griffon, Eurasian Griffon and White-backed Vulture. During the next trip It would be good to add a Lappet-faced and a White-headed Vulture on the same picture :)
Location
Sant Louis, Senegal
Scientific name
Necrosyrtes monachus, Gyps rueppellii, Gyps fulvus, Gyps africanus
Equipment used
Canon 7D + 300mm f/4

Great goodness!!! How on earth did you manage to arrange for that to happen Yeray?;)

What a sight that must have been to get so these four together. Thanks so much for getting this comparison picture and sharing it with us.

Good luck with getting the other two to join in :-O

Outstanding study of these four vultures! What an experience.

Excellent photo of this interesting gathering. I like the excellent image quality and the fine colours of the photo.

Congratulations,
Cristian

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. It was fantastic to watch all the species at once, and being able to photograph them while they were feeding as well! Thanks Delia, good to see the picture there!
