Friendly cousins
Quite a rare site for me, Great Tits have been such scarce visitors to my garden and especially so to the window feeders.

So I was delighted to get a picture of these two together, one day I may get a coalie in with them too eh? Well we can dream, can't we.

Strangely, this is the first winter I've caught sight of a Great Tit at least once in each month and saw one just the other day at the window (too quick for a picture though).

No harm in dreaming, that is how dreams come true & hope yours does. Super double capture, Delia!! tfs.

About the parrot image uploaded by Ramesh Vijapur, it appears to be a Malabar Parakeet normally found in the western ghats area. Strangely, he seems to have seen it here. If so, a rare visitor to this area indeed. I will cross check with him.
