A lovely capture.
Wish the raven that comes day by day to empty the blackbirds nest here would make itself rare. BB attacks are harmless against this hungry killer. Two BB chicks in two days during my observations.
I was able to scare away the crow this morning. These BBs have no luck with their breeding place on neighbors lot. They were feeding tonight but I guess the nest is empty soon.

So sweet! Not so friendly here the other day - two couples were scoping out our one nest box and chasing one another around the garden. I think the BT couple won the nesting rights and that now things have settled down.

One day Delia you will get a photo of the Coalie just keep wishing I hope you do this is awesome anyway and what a wonderful buffet of seeds you have there for them to eat kindness always matters to me it's lovely to see precious little ones enjoying themselves thank you Delia for this lovely scene.
