He most graciously alowed me to use his lovely photograph of this Peacock butterfly (posted in December of last year) as reference for this painting. This painting is in acrylics on wood and is part of a set of eight hand made charger plates.

I've been asked from time to time to post some of my work and I thought this might be a good time to do so. Along with watercolors and regular canvas type painting my main work is in the decorative arts field where we paint on many different surfaces like this woodenware plate.
