Gadwall ... woops! Cinnamon Teal! ... head shot (Anas cyanoptera)

Almost done with the two Americas odyssey. Just three "fun shots" left for tomorrow now.
I thought this Gadwall, though plain-colored, deserved a close-up.

OY! I stand corrected. In the midst of the Gadwalls was this female Cinnamon Teal. Thanks to Brett Richards for spotting my mistake. I just saw "ho hum, another tweedy-brown female duck with a white wing patch" and missed the blue-grey forewing, the larger bill, the more stream-lined head :eek!: Shame on me! And here I'd actually been looking for Cinnamon Teal there. It's one of only two places I've ever seen them.
