Gambel's Quail (Callipepla gambelii)

Except for these bird pictures, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve is proved to be an excellent source for seeing new (for me) species. These Gambel's Quails crossed quickly across the open area of a dirt road and lit in the bush.
