Garden Resident (Columba palumbas)

This Wood Pigeon is a frequent garden visitor at my mums house so I thought I'd take a photo of it. I guess someone had to post one of these here.

Actually I really like the Wood Pigeon and its plumage. This particular one is not shy but will take to the air with a short steep climbing flight display if it has reason to be alarmed.
