Gentoo penguins in the Antarctic (Pygoscelis papua)

It was my idea to get the worldwide first bird webcam in the Antarctic installed and everything went perfect! :-) Since Oct. 2004 this webcam is online at the german antarctic research station GARS O'Higgins. It shows a small colony of gentoo penguins. Picture update every 30 minutes all around the year. There is a large picture online database available too...

For more infos and the life pics please check my website (==> see my profile) White Sheatbills (Chionis alba) are seen regular in this webcam pics too!
Location
Gars O'Higgins, Antarctica
Scientific name
Pygoscelis papua
Equipment used
MOBOTIX M10 network webcam (100% weatherproof)
Great detail from this webcam, I will have a look later on after I have been to work.

This looks like the Penguins meeting area.
