Giant Wren (Campylorhynchus chiapensis)

This is such an odd bird. Very large-oriole sized, but totally "wren like" behaviorally. Taken near the town of Arriaga in southern Pacific coastal Mexico. Not an uncommon bird, but very localized in and around the state of Chiapas.

A beautiful image of this Wren bajadreamer and it is only the second image of this species uploaded in the Gallery's history. Nice work guy!

Thank you to everyone. It was a fun bird to watch. A group of 4-5 acting in typical "wren" behavior, only way bigger than what I usually see with wrens.
