Giant
There were loads of Swallowtails on my trip - big beautiful butterflies all of them - and finally just two days before the trip ended the presumably biggest of them all: Giant Swallowtail. It took some persistence, following this big guy (or gal) around the ... honeysuckle? ... before I got one decent shot. And no, it wasn't me moving the camera. You can see the shrub is still sharp, so it was only the butterfly moving its wings that caused the blur.

I'd love to see a swallowtail Ann.... such attractive butterflies and you've a great picture of this one lass.

They fair gave me the run-around in Oz, really didn't get any usable pics of any - never settled on a flower or anything to give me a shot. Same with dragonflies.

They are lovely butterflies, Ann, and this is a lovely shot.
