Photographed on an American beautyberry leaf (Callicarpa americana: Verbenaceae) in Lick Creek Park, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, USA. Oak/yaupon/farkelberry dominated sand hill at ca. 100 m (333 ft) elevation.

So that's what the little troublemaker looks like. Pretty, but one very unpopular insect in the wine country!
