Glossy Ibis (Plegadis falcinellus)

Another first from my trip to Kokkare Bellur/Ranganathittu Reserves last month. Smallest of the ibises perhaps. Had got a few distant shots of them earlier along with other waders. They were foraging all by themselves this time; so I think I can call this a lifer.

Off to Bengaluru again this noon for a few days to attend a wedding, will try to post whenever I can.
Habitat
marshes at the margins of lakes and rivers but can also be found at lagoons, flood-plains, wet meadows, swamps, reservoirs, sewage ponds, paddies and irrigated farmland
