Glossy Ibis
Not all authorities agree that there are subspecies within the Glossy Ibis taxon. This adult is in breeding plumage and has developed the pale orbital ring round the eyes, (reminiscent of White-fronted Ibis Plegadis chihi of the Americas but without the red loral skin). If, like me, you recognise the racial differences this is 'peregrinus'.
