Goldcrest - Regulus regulus (Regulus regulus)

I just love these little birds with their ' down in the mouth ' expression but I guess when you have to spend your day concentrating on finding enough food to live they may well feel life has dealt them a bad hand perhaps and justifying that look.
Always makes me think of a little clowns face bless them.

Lovely frontal view and a cute pose. Great view of the bottom of its foot. They are colorful and not often seen in photographs. Well done John!
