Pine forests are the best places to see goldcrests, but they range around in flocks of other small birds during autumn and winter. They're widespread and common across the whole of the UK; in autumn, large numbers arrive on the east coast from Scandinavia

That's a great picture you've taken of this goldie Keith. Though I'm sure it's not so good as the one I took that's on a corrupted card!! That's bound to be a world beater, isn't it!:-O The only time I've ever managed to get a picture too.
