Golden-breasted Bunting by Adam Riley
If youve ever been birding in the open woodlands of sub-Saharan Africa, theres a good chance that you would have come across this little bird during your travels. Arguably the most beautiful bunting in Africa, its known as the Golden-breasted Bunting, and is usually seen either singly or in pairs, especially along roads or road verges where it manages to find an easy source of fallen seeds. It was along such a road in South Africas Kruger National Park that Adam photographed this delightful bird.Taken on a Rockjumper Birding Tour in South Africa.
