Golden eagle in the Saratov steppes (Aquila chrysaetos)

Observing kites, I noticed this large bird soaring in the distance. The look was very brief- I was on a ship, but managed to photograph it. From the image and its huge size, protruding head, colouration and colour of neck feathers, I identified it as a golden eagle. This bird is very rare in Russia
