Golden Tanager (Tangara arthus)

Although this is a common bird in Ecuador (and the subtropics in general) it is still an "eye-catcher" whenever it appears. This one was seen in the Amagusa Reserve in far NW Ecuador.

What a gorgeous bird and this is one beautiful image of it! Very nicely captured.
 
Brilliant deep colour, lovely pose and well detailed close up.
 
Thank you, but before there can be a beautiful image there has to be a beautiful bird; this one certainly qualifies.
