My newbies!!!

Thanks to Alan (Tockman) I got some black sunflower seeds about 6 weeks ago and at long, long last these Goldfinch came in yesterday morning.

It was so unfortunate that it was raining and very unusually the rain was coming in the direction of that window, so I've problems with focus on most of the pictures!

But I've new visitors and am over the moon about that.

Perhaps you've got some of ours, Delia, we used to have large flocks in the garden but now only ones and twos if that. Enjoy them!
Nice one Delia, cant seem to get them in the garden, they just sit on the tree outside. lol.
Great to have new visiors Delia. My Goldies only seem to eat "no mess sunflower mix".
A lovely image of your beautiful newbies Delia. So pleased for you. Thanks for sharing.
As well as black sunflower seeds, I put out white sunflower hearts and niger seeds which they also love. I have a gang of about 18 visiting my garden now but it took a very long time to attract them in.
Congrats on your fine newbies Delia, you lucky lady...Psst I heard it was World Goldfinch Day today, LOL.
Great image Delia and let hope that now they have found the seed they will keep coming.
Nice job! Hopefully you'll be up close and personal with these guys for a while, in fact ours are about all year....they know when they're on to a good thing?! ;)
