Goosander stretch (Mergus merganser)

Saturday was a frustrating day - difficult light and some nice photogenic birds that stayed too far away for high quality pictures. I spent ages watching this female goosander diving for fish - but she stayed in the one spot just too far away for good pictures.

Finally got this so-so shot when she gave her wings a stretch.
