goosander

caught at 1/200 at ISO 320 I wish I had some light. This shot was obtained during one of my crawling efforts since these birds here are very difficult to approach . The bird was disturbed by a passerby which was fortunate since it put the bird right in my path.

Lake
Location

Equipment used

Yes the light was pants today which was a shame. Good effort all the same Adrian. I can never get closer than 100 yards to these birds.

Cheers Rob....in fact the light was great when I took this but sadly the bird had taken to the shaded area....grumble grumble:-O:-O:-O I try again tomorrow.:smoke:

Not an easy bird to get near, I love the action, off like he.. !
Pity there was not better light, still a good picture.

Lovely Goosander action, Adrian. Takes off just to fly here.. ;) Beautiful shot!

Luckily there was no light,Adrian!! The bird would have spotted you earlier and you had crawled home emptyhanded. ;); I think it's a great action shot! Very well done my friend. :t:

Still a great shot Adrian, careful when you crawl remember ;)

A lovely capture, beautifully timed :t::t::t:
