Another first for me at the reserve! Looked like a merganser at first, but it's unique marking made it easy for me to identify this Goosander. Maybe they are in the Merganser family, they sure look like them

LOL yes, that's confusing to us here Twins. We call these guys Goosanders (as you've named it) but I think in the States, they call it a [COLOR="Blue"]Common Merganser[/COLOR], as opposed to Red-breasted Merganser (gottit?;))

A cracking fight shot you've got of him.... very well done lad.
