Went to New York for a holiday, to see the sites like a proper tourist, Empire State, Statue of Liberty etc...all very busy, noisy and quite hot :) Last full day there nipped for a walk through Central park and having only managed to see Sparrows and Starlings for most of the holiday, saw (if not photographed!!) quite a few different birds in a short space of time before the tourist mode and shopping over took us again :-)
Think this is a Gray Catbird, from my limited references I have to hand, so happily stand to be corrected, by those with better knowledge of US birds :-) Seemed to be a few of these birds around flying from tree to tree in places, though this one seemed interested in the berries - Mike
