Great Black-backed Gull
At the far end of the island where the Shags from yesterday were, was a lone Great Black-backed Gull.

I don't know if he was just having a rest, or if they nest there, but think that may be unlikely.

This was taken from quite a distance, and I took the picture more in the hope of being able to see what it was by zooming in.

A Year and Trip tick too!

A splendid setting for this handsome gull. I do like the way you have composed the shot too. It is great that you had such a successful trip Girl
