Great Horned Owl (Bubo virginianus magellanicus) Known as the Magellanic Owl or Lesser Horned Owl in Argentina.
Habitat
Deep narrow canon cut by flood waters surrounded by arid lands with xerophytic vegetation at ca. 1,650 m (5,413 ft) elevation.
Location
North of Colalao del Valle on ruta 40 and south of Tolombn, Salta Province, Argentina.
