Great Horned Owl
Great Horned Owl (Bubo virginianus magellanicus) The mate of the other Great Horned Owl that I posted. Known as the Magellanic Owl or Lesser Horned Owl in Argentina.
Habitat
Deep narrow canon cut by flood waters surrounded by arid lands with xerophytic vegetation at ca. 1,650 m (5,413 ft) elevation.
Location
North of Colalao del Valle on ruta 40 and south of Tolombn, Salta Province, Argentina.
