Thanks for the correct name for this tit! There are many of that species here in the garden and also many finches ;-)
What I pity is the lack of sparrows. I saw a lot of them in Andalusia and several decades ago when I was young, but not now anymore.

What I pity is the lack of sparrows. I saw a lot of them in Andalusia and several decades ago when I was young, but not now anymore.
I'm lucky to have quite a healthy population of House Sparrows here. What I lack are finches (apart from Chaffinch). Only very, very occasionally do I see Siskin, Goldfinch and Greenfinch. This month I had my first (in 25 years) Yellowhammer.
