LOL that's a great picture you've got there of these two hungry guys Hardy.

The tit is a Great Tit - Parus major; (Blue Tit has a blue head and no white patch on the nape).

Many thanks for showing them to us lad.

Thanks for the correct name for this tit! There are many of that species here in the garden and also many finches ;-)
What I pity is the lack of sparrows. I saw a lot of them in Andalusia and several decades ago when I was young, but not now anymore.

I'm lucky to have quite a healthy population of House Sparrows here. What I lack are finches (apart from Chaffinch). Only very, very occasionally do I see Siskin, Goldfinch and Greenfinch. This month I had my first (in 25 years) Yellowhammer.
