Great Spotted Woodpecker
The boat trip yesterday was a bit mixed. It was too windy to reach our main goal and on the alternative island we landed on there were no rarities. On the plus side it was mild and sunny and the archipelago was beautiful. We also saw about 20 White-tailed Eagles (all too far away to get a decent shot) and best of all I got my very first sharp, full frame shots of a Goldcrest.

I did my best with the weather gods Mac, sorry forgot to speak to the bird gods, nice catch of this little guy though.

Yuo did very well with the weather gods, Trev, and I think the gods smiled a bit when they let me get that Goldcrest series.
