I've got one visiting occasionally, that is very pale on the back, almost grey, and the yellow is a bit washed out too..... it's catching him to get a picture though LOL.

Thanks Delia ... I have been studying them this year ..... it is surprising how different they can be colour-wise at the same time of the year, (i.e. in and out of the breading season) - the different colours can be the result of their diet, (so I am told), but there are also other reasons
