Greater Ani (Crotophaga major)

We boarded the National Geographic Quest the previous afternoon and spent the night in Gatun Lake, at the northern end of the Panama Canal. Our trip, the next morning, was to the Gamboa Rainforest Discovery Center. The best birds, including this Greater Ani and a Pygmy Kingfisher, were seen at the Marina where we docked! Had never come across either of these birds before, so 2 more lifers for the trip!
