Greater coucal (Centropus sinensis)

Frequent around these parts... have a rather deep resonant ominous call... lumbering gait.. and not so pretty when soggy wet.... we would venture out only a little distance when the rain turned into a fine drizzle........otherwise stayed put in the car and lowered our windows for a quick capture or two..... the inside of the car became quite wet with rain lashing about!! Back home used the hair dryer to dry up the lens and camera!!!
