Greater flamingo

Greater flamingo (Phoenicopterus roseus)

Using the Sigma 300 and 2X converter hand held I found that I could not focus (owing to problem with the converter), so I had to manually focus and missed a full block shot...the patch of blue water in this flock is not what I wanted. The opportunity for this kind of shot only happened once and all too brief.
