Greater flamingos (Phoenicopterus roseus)

Ameenpur lake on the outskirts of Hyderabad the capital of newly formed South Indian State of Telangana.....I was surprised to see the lake teeming with birds..Greater Flamingos, Terns, Coots, Cormorants, Spoonbills, Spot-billed Ducks, Stilts etc...at the peak of summer.... The lake was quarter of its original size due to evaporation. Hope the ID is right... a bit of a confusion as both species are known to occur in India!
