Coastal Prairies and Marshes vegetation area. Coastal live oak woodlands with small openings, and a few man-made ponds at ca. 1 m (3.3 ft) elevation; margin of small pond.
Location
Lafitte’s Cove Nature Reserve, Galveston, Galveston County, Texas, USA.

A beauty of a detailed close up, pose, setting, lighting and capture Stanley, many tfs and a fine set today.

Well spotted and a well taken image Stanley, they can sometimes be hard to see with their well camouflaged plumage. I was lucky to come across one, when I visited Florida (About 20 years ago)!
