Green Woodpecker (Picus viridis)

Another shot of this Woodpecker eating ant pupae on my lawns, got lucky when it came up to my top lawn, taken through my patio window on a very dull and wet day. ISO 3200. Catch up with you all later.

It must be such a joy to watch these guys scouring the grasses. A beautiful capture Donald.

I do like the angle of this image, Donald. Very nicely taken.

Wonderful capture under difficult conditions!! Lots of rain and clouds here, haven't been out in days! We had some ice on the car this morning and they closed the state for two days before the weather even got here! lol!! SC people don't adapt to cold and snow very well!! ;o) Thanks for sharing this lovely woody image Donald!!

Kind of an accusing expression she's giving you ;) Does she think that weather is your fault? Or just that you're privileged to be indoors?
Great shot you got in spite of the weather |=)|
