Grey-crowned Crane
We've been back from South Africa for a week but I returned with a slight temperature from an insect bite, so I've been taking it easy! A fabulous trip with siome great birds.

A wonderful photo to start your South African series, marvelous photo of these two cranes . I realise it's more than 40 years ago when I last saw these beauties, they were simply called crowned cranes then, before the split up.
