Grey Currawong
Just back from a few days at Gluepot, Birdlife Australia's reserve in the Riverland. Very disappointing! We were expecting hundreds of birds to be visiting the five hides and water troughs. This is the only bird we saw! The drought has driven them away.

How sad about your lack of bird life on your visit.

Gosh!! How disappointing for you Peter. I know how you were looking forward to that visit.

I hope the conditions improve soon for you my friend!

You've taken a super picture of this guy lad - I love the pose you captured.

Oh what a shame, Peter.

Still, your one bird did oblige with a lovely pose.

Oh no!!! And elsewhere, I gather the rain season floods were worse than ever. I hope we can manage to turn our climate destruction around in time :eek!:
This Grey Currawong is fabulous, though. What a fantastic bill! And apparently a drought tolerant bird too |=)|
