Grey-fronted Honeyeater

Grey-fronted Honeyeater (Lichenostomus plumulus)

Away camping over the Australia Day long-weekend Down Under. Found this fella who looked a little different. When we checked the field guide, we identified it as a grey-fronted honeyeater. Exciting as it we are on the cusp of its range, it is marked as uncommon and there are only 2 other pics on BF.

As the laptop is causing me stress at the moment, I shan't be on-line for long, but all being well, will get back on-line later.

I'm a grey-topped honey-eater myself, but not nearly as pretty as this one. And though there's only one of me, not nearly so rare either ;)
Lovely shot |=)|

Lovely set of photographs Eric, I am looking forward to getting across to Australia later on in the year!!!
Dick.
