Grey Squirrel

Grey Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis)

Hmm, the second squirrel I've posted this year. Well, they're a fact of life, numerous and ubiquitous. It's certainly disappointing when movement in foliage turns out to be squirrel, not bird! But this one seemed to be asking to have its photo taken...

Thank you for your comments on my pictures, and good birding!

LOL he really does look rather cute there John.

That's a super picture lad - very well done.

You probably find this hard to believe, but I've not seen a Grey one round here.

He looks as if he's accusing
you of pinching his nuts, Jonno.
Not that you'd ever do do such a
thing, of course. A topshot.

he looks so content having his picture taken john...lovely...many thanks...

Just look at that cheeky face, John! I know they're a nuisance, but this is such a charming shot.

And It's certainly disappointing when your feeders are emptied by these guys but I have to admit that this is a neat image of this Squirrel John!
