Grounded Brown Creeper

Grounded Brown Creeper (Certhia americana)

We have had dismal weather lately. Snow, freezing rain, then abysmally cold temps with high winds. Wind chill values near -30C.
Must be tough times when the most tree dwelling of birds goes to ground to try to find something to eat.

Fine shot in bad weather Bill. Reading your narrative guess I should not complain about all our rain.
