Gulf Coast Toad (male)
Gulf Coast Toad [Bufo (Incilius) valliceps) Bufonidae. This is the most common toad in my area. He was calling to attract a female. It ranges in size from 8-13 cm (3.15-5.12 in) long. These toads are variable in color and show remarkable variety of color schemes. East of Crockett, Houston County, Texas, USA in the Davy Crockett National Forest. Mixed pine/hardwood forest at ca. 107 m (350 ft) elevation.

Lovely capture. Well exposed and great detail.
Guess sth. is wrong with the Toad. Why? He called a female but a wildlife photographer came, LOL.
